WISHLIST NOW!!! !!!

A love letter to the golden age of Light Gun arcade classics.

What’s Time Ranger?

If you grew up on Time Crisis, House of the Dead, or Virtua Cop, this is that spirit rebuilt for VR. Clean, responsive, and all action.

Out of Time!

You’re a time-jumping Ranger hunting outlaws across shattered timelines. Every level throws you into a new warped world full of fast-paced shootouts, snap decisions, and boss fights that don’t let up.

Each timeline has its own enemies, hazards, and the occasional paradox that drops something completely out of place into the fight - Time Cops in a Western town, a VIkings in a modern day bank heist?, mechas in a medieval village and more.

Fast Arcade VR Gameplay

  • Dual wield or single-pistol play

  • On-rails movement for low cognitive load and pure action

  • Tight, timed sections with medal rankings

  • Boss fights in every era

  • Paradox encounters that break the rules

  • Multiple biomes from Western towns to Viking raids, and beyond to the distant future

  • Designed for replayability and leaderboard competition

Play it your way!

There’s no inventory busywork, no gimmick interactions. You stay focused on what matters - shooting, reacting, and surviving the next wave.

Move through handcrafted sections, clear enemies fast, and earn medals based on your performance.

Replay levels to master challenges, tighten your times, and climb the leaderboards for your chosen style.

Who is building Time Ranger?

Bill Rountree

Nuno Monteiro

We’re two devs whose lives got wrecked by the latest wave of industry layoffs.

Not because we weren’t good at our jobs (we’re damn good), but because corporate greed holds share value higher than human talent.

While the industry has been collapsing and brilliant developers are being thrown aside, we teamed up and started building the game we’ve always wanted to make.

We’ve been pouring everything we have into this, because no one else is going to do it for us.

This is us refusing to quit. This is us trying to stand on our own two feet. This is us choosing to make a living without depending on a corporation that treats people like numbers on a spreadsheet.
